Perfect girlfriend has a big sex drive!

Men believe that the perfect girlfriend is the one who has a high sex drive, enjoys a hearty meal and gets ready to go out in 10 minutes.
Apart from this, the perfect girlfriend is a career-minded woman who earns more than their partner but at the same time wants to stay at home and bring up the children.
The clue to these seemingly contradictory demands lies in the men polled, 3,000 bachelors.
Near the top of their girlfriend checklist is the requirement that she should have a "pert bottom" – which may explain why they are still single.

Sex-guide according to your age

Our sexual behaviour varies at different times in our lives. Sex guru Tracey Cox in her bestselling book, 'Sextasy' reveals the sexual urges and traits of lovers according to their age...
20-something
Most guys just can't stop dreaming about sex every couple of hours. At this age, girls are usually rebellious in their sexual imaginations. They share same-sex fantasies or want to try out bi-sexuality. A 2006 study of nearly 2000 people discovered that 76 per cent of women who slept with women reached orgasm (for women with men, the figure stands at 50 per cent).

The 20s are the time when young boys and girls are most experimental in their sexual positions. One in 10 people claims Tracey Cox have had a threesome in their early twenties.
Also, people in this age group have most likely visited a strip joint or a lapdancing club - with their friends or their better half.
30 something
The 30s are a time to experiment, almost all 30-somethings claim to have had sex outdoors. Unlike the teens when making out was the most common form of sexual experimentation, most 30 somethings prefer having sex somewhere semi-public like the beach, in the garden or on a park bench in the darkness. There's something wildly erotic about these sexapades! Also, high on the 30 something popularity chart are having sex in the shower or in the bath tub.

Similarly, they are three times more likely to drink alcohol and twice as likely to use marijuana.
The poll also found that 70 per cent of those interviewed said they used social networking sites on a typical day, while 30 per cent did not, the Daily Telegraph reported.

First impressions that last - Men Women First Meeting

Women still prefer chivalry while men notice portion sizes in the first meeting, reveals online survey
If you though chivalry is dead, you may be in for a shocker. In a survey conducted by a leading matrimonial portal, 62% women expect their prospective partners to open doors and hold out chairs. Not only that, being a miser only makes things worse for men. The poll received responses from over 5,200 Shaadi.com members across India and have thrown open some surprising facts.

According to the survey, both men and women shared the same opinion when it came to meeting their potential partner unaccompanied. Unlike the earlier generations, today’s prospective marriage seekers prefer the first meeting to be away from relatives and at a neutral venue. Not only that, 57% men get put-off if the woman comes accompanied by a relative and friend. But they are still orthodox when it comes to footing the bill as 70% women expect men to pay on the first meeting.

Try These to Give your Immunity a Boost - health is wealth

A healthy immune system is an aggressive age fighter that helps keep us feeling good, looking good and bustling with energy. If the immune system functions properly, we can put our health-related worries to rest. But as we age, our immune system, like an ageing cricketer, loses some of its vigour.
This amazingly complex defensive unit gradually deteriorates and its ability to tackle invading organisms fades out.

Widescreen: Riots leave London burning

In what is turning out to be Britain’s worst civil unrest in decades, riots in London entered the fourth day with no imminent signs of a comedown. The riots were sparked off in Tottenham when armed police shot dead Mark Duggan, 29, a father of four, in disputed circumstances on August 4. Violence, clashes with police and sporadic looting were also reported from Croydon, Birmingham, Battersea, Lewisham, Kilburn, Liverpool and Camden as groups of young people pelted police officers with bottles and fireworks and set ablaze buildings, cars and garbage dumps. Police said that rioters were using phone text messages and social media to carry out lootings, adding that the rioting had changed from a “local issue to organized criminality”. While some commentators contend that the riots point to the deep social unease in the capital’s poorest areas, police and politicians have maintained that much of the violence is purely opportunistic. Britain's Home Secretary Theresa May said the violence was totally unacceptable and announced that 215 people have been arrested and 27 charged so far. About a hundred of those arrested are under 21, while the youngest person charged is an 11-year-old boy.

Singapore stands up for its curry

Singapore, Aug. 21 (Reuters): Indian curry is what it takes to start a mass campaign with political overtones in Singapore.
Tens of thousands of people in the Southeast Asian city-state said they would cook or eat curry today in a protest highlighting growing anger over increased immigration.
The campaign began after an immigrant family from China complained about the smell of curry from a Singaporean Indian neighbour's home and local officials brought about a compromise.
A Facebook page devoted to the row after reports were published in a local newspaper has drawn over 57,600 members, many of who said they were cooking curry today in a show of solidarity with the Indian family.

Soon, bulletproof human skin made from spider silk and goat milk

London, Aug 22 (ANI): Bulletproof vests have been around for decades but skin that can stop them has only been the preserve of science fiction.
The most famous example is Superman, or the Man of Steel - bullets simply ricochet off of him.
Now, scientists have claimed to be making this science fiction into a reality with the development of bulletproof human skin made from spider silk and goat milk.
They genetically engineered goats to produce milk, which is packed with the same protein as silk spiders, which is then milked out and spun and weaved into a material that is ten times stronger than steel.
The fabric is then blended with human skin to make what the scientists hope will be tough enough to stop even a bullet.
Dutch researcher Jalila Essaidi said the 'spidersilk' project was called '2.6g 329m/s' after the weight and the velocity of a .22 calibre long rifle bullet.
Working with the Forensic Genomics Consortium in the Netherlands, she said the goal was to replace the keratin in our skin with the spider's silk.
The first stage involves growing a layer of real skin around a sample of the bulletproof skin, which takes about five weeks.

Hyderabad duo designs robot for low- cost harvesting

ROBOTS are all set to bring down the cost of harvesting. A solar- powered harvesting robot designed by T. J. David and Kudikala Shravan Kumar of the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad ( IIIT- H) bagged the overall first prize at the Intel India Embedded Challenge 2011 in Bangalore on Friday.
The crop harvesting machine works on 500 watt batteries that can be recharged by solar panels or grid power. The cost of using the robot would be as little as ` 10 an acre if grid power is used for charging as compared to a conventional harvester that uses diesel worth ` 800 for the task, claimed the inventors.
The robotic harvester will come for about ` 50,000, which is 80 per cent less than the traditional harvester, David said.

Kolkata, Aug 22 (IANS) India could have the world's third largest GDP by 2025 if the country maintained its present growth rate, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Monday while conceding that the target of nine percent growth for the next five years was 'very ambitious' given the current state of the global economy.
Addressing the golden jubilee celebrations of the Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta, the prime minister cautioned that while the 'rosy future' was within the nation's reach, it was not an assured outcome.
Manmohan Singh, who is regarded as the architect of India's economic reforms for having initiated them as finance minister between 1991 and 1996, said the reforms programme had courted controversy in the early years but all regimes at the centre had carried them forward.
