Satellites that fall from the sky Where do dead satellites go? Some of them drift away in space but most fall down to earth. In the next few days, a schoolbus-sized satellite will fall back to earth. NASA officials don’t know exactly where it will fall until about two hours before it enters the Earth’s atmosphere. Usually, satellites and payload modules disintegrate into smaller pieces as they enter the atmosphere, and the danger to people is not as high as one might imagine. NASA spokespersons added that there is a 1-in-3,200 chance that a person somewhere on Earth could be hit by falling satellite debris. Here’s a look at space debris found on earth.

1. Rock Walk, Hyderabad
The Deccan Plateau is a natural wonder of stony ridges and hillocks. The rock formations in and around Hyderabad are granite monoliths that are older than the Himalayas. Geologists estimate them to be 2,500 million years old. Unfortunately most have made way for malls and skyrises today. Save the Rocks Foundation conducts regular treks to these rocky areas.
Learn about the unusual geological formations, legends and local history behind the stones. Discover hidden lakes among the rocks, teeming with birdlife. With names like Obelisk, Hamburger and Mushroom, let your imagination run wild deciphering the shapes that the stones suggest. The walk is conducted free of charge and takes place on the third Sunday of every month. www.saverocks.org

Indian Beauties who won International Beauty Pageants
India’s official entrant to the Miss Universe contest, Vasuki Sunkavalli returned home empty-handed having failed to make it even to the Top 16 contestants.
Although we never really expected much out of the lady who stole tweets in order to make herself look intelligent, we have to admit that her dismal performance was a far cry from the country’s previous beauty queens that won the crown. The golden run that India saw with international beauty pageant winners like Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, etc. seems like a bygone era as none of India’s representatives have won any prominent titles since a decade.
While we wait for another Indian beauty to be crowned in an international contest, let us rewind and remember those ladies who did us proud at international beauty pageants.

Travel Picks: Top 10 toilets around the world
LONDON (Reuters) - Whether you call them a restroom, loo, lavatory, toilet, or "the facilities", they are always an important part of being on the go. With this in mind the members and editors of travel website VirtualTourist.com (www.virtualtourist.com) have compiled this list of the "World's Top 10 Toilets". Reuters has not endorsed this list:
1. Bryant Park; New York City, NY
Who would have thought that a loo in the middle of such a dirty, noisy, frenetic city would have classical music, fresh flowers, and even an attendant! Visitors report that it's also spotlessly clean.
2. Covent Garden; London, U.K.
If visitors to the public restrooms at Covent Garden don't notice the cleanliness and efficiency of this facility on their own there's a prominent sign on the wall informing them of the place's 2011 "Loo of the Year" award.

10 global health habits we can learn from other cultures
From spices to siestas, every culture has their own solutions to staying healthy and managing their weight. To help inspire your healthy living, check out the top 10 global health secrets that could help you stay fit and trim.
Cook with fresh, quality ingredients
Many of us are guilty of turning to pre-prepared, processed foods when we’re in a hurry, but these are often packed with salt, sugar and additives which are damaging to our health. Instead, we should take our lead from countries such as Italy and Japan who rely on fresh, seasonal produce for their healthy cuisines. Try frequenting local markets to pick up fresh goods, or you could even take inspiration from Russia where it is common for families to grow their own food.
Choose fish over meat
Red meat is a staple of many of our diets, which is perhaps one of the reasons for the high levels of heart disease across the world. For a healthier protein option, take inspiration from the Japanese and Icelandic diets and stock up on seafood. Not only is fish good for heart health, but a study has suggested that the Icelandic diet – high in Omega-3-rich fish – may be responsible for their unexpectedly low rate of seasonal affective disorder, or the “winter blues”.
Practice Yoga to reduce stress
Strike these poses for a calmer and happier you.
Hypertension is not just common, in a strange twisted way it's a status symbol. It shows you have arrived, are busy and lead a stressed life. However, it takes a toll on your heart, spikes your blood sugar and insulin levels and that's bad news.
yoga
As a yoga practitioner, I have experienced the calming effect that this alternative therapy can provide. Being static, yoga postures are less demanding and require less oxygen. This causes minimal strain during exercise and keeps your muscles relaxed. Here are a few postures that you can practise to keep your stress levels under control.
